I have a passion for painting murals and crocheting.
In 2015, I was working towards my degree at Northampton Community College, prior to transferring to Kutztown University. I realized I had found a career path that clicked. I began taking on freelance projects, and Strain Design was born.
In 2018, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Kutztown University. During college, I concentrated in Graphic Design, Typography, Advertising, and Art History. After graduation, I worked in various agency environments — designing artwork for packaging, branding, signage, and vehicle wraps.
In 2021, I began designing interior and exterior mural paintings.
My design process is hands-on. My passion for the practical use of design principles and analytical thinking led me to work temporarily in construction — specializing in finish work. This helped me move to ten beautiful acres to build my homestead.
Outside of Strain Design, I am a Graphic Designer in the Art Department at a mid-sized company.
There, I get to perfect customer supplied art for cylindrical bottle printing, embroidery, and various production methods. I began working at this company in 2022 as a Screen Printing Press Operator, using a twelve-head automatic press and a five-head manual press.
